Windows has been for a long time and still is (as of this writing) the most widely used operating system for desktop and laptop computers in the world. It is therefore not surprising to see so many Windows applications on the market worldwide. iOS is the operating system that runs on the most popular Apple devices (i.e. iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and their variances). With over 1.2 million iOS applications published in about 7 years, this platform has changed the way some of us live and do business. Just like having a web site has become a necessity for most companies to stay in business, the necessity to have an iOS application is not that far behind for many also.

iOS applications development is something relatively new to me. Nevertheless, I find it very interesting and I am ready to embrace every challenge that it will bring my way. As of this writing (December 2014), I have just published my first iOS application on the App Store. The application name is 'My Leaves'.
